The SPX2290 is a smart 4 - 20 mA button seal (Taylor Bulb replacement) pressure transmitter designed for use in hazardous locations. The SPX2290E has explosion proof approval for Class 1, Division I, Groups A, B, C & D , Class 2, Division II/III, Groups E, F & G. The explosion proof model empolys a conduit fitting. The SPX2290S is approved for ATEX II 2 (1) G 100a and Intrinsic Safety for Eex ia IIC T4/T6. The intrinsically safe and ATEX models can be supplied with either a conduit fitting or a variety of connectors. The SPX2290 is an all welded construction transmitter that features a large diaphragm and an optional split flange for easy installation.
